the fact that it is really hot and that my companion just left. In the end I wasn't able to go to the temple because there were so many missionaries in his group. This week was pretty fun. On Saturday we had a talent show with the whole district here that we organized. That's why I had asked for the music. It was a really great experience. We actually had over 100 people that attended, which is a LOT, especially for this part. The branch did some really great acts including a theater thing and a musical (where I dressed up as Woody from Toy Story). It was a really great way to help unify the branch and have them work together. In the end, I ended up singing You Raise Me Up. The evening was a lot of fun and definitely helped the people here. Then last night we had a farewell for my companion in the house of the branch president. You know that you are a special missionary when in a branch of 75 people, between 40 and 50 of them come to say goodbye to you. It was a great way to even unite some less active members, new converts, and investigators. Well things are going well here. I am excited to see how things end up going in these coming weeks with my new companion. His name is Elder Izquierdo from Iquitos, Peru. I haven't really been able to get to know him well yet, but I'll send you some info when I know more. I hope that all is well back home, and I will talk to you later!!![]()
Todd is serving a two-year mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the Chile Rancagua Mission. Here are excerpts from letters he has sent home so that friends and family can keep up with how he is doing.
