Hey everyone,
How is everything going?
Things here in Chile are going pretty well. This last week we got hit
with a lot of rain in the middle of the week; however, the end of the
week has been pretty nice as far as weather goes. It has been nice and
clear and hasn't been too cold. However, the rainy days have reminded
me why I like summer at times more than winter here in the mission. The
good thing is that it hasn't rained in a long time, so it was really
important to have at least some rain. On Thursday, we went to a little
town called Chépica, where we helped the sister missionaries that
recently arrived there to find some people to teach. The only problem
was that it was raining, which normally causes problems for knocking
doors because no one (obviously) wants to go out into the rain to talk to
you. However, it ended up working out well, and we were all able to
find some good people to help them out.Todd is serving a two-year mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the Chile Rancagua Mission. Here are excerpts from letters he has sent home so that friends and family can keep up with how he is doing.
