Hey there how are things going?
Things are going pretty well here.  We have some exciting things that have happened during this last week.  First of all, we went to Curicó on Wednesday to have a conference with Elder Francisco J. Viñas, who is the Second Counselor of the South America South Area.  It was a very inspiring conference that really helped me to have the excitement to go to work and help the people here.  It was also fun to be able to see some people that I have not seen in a very long time.  Also, I was able to see Elder Quezada, my second cousin!
Then on Thursday night, we got a call telling us that we would be getting a new companion.  It turns out that I am now with Elder Craven along with Elder Leyton.  If that name sounds familiar, it's because he was my companion around a year and a half ago when I finished training him.  He had gone home for a knee surgery, but he is back again, and we are really excited to be working together.
We also changed houses on Friday, so we now live in a brand-new, two-story house.  It is a really nice house; however, I don't know how long I will be staying here to enjoy it.  I have been here a very long time, and now the fact that I am in a threesome makes me think that I may not be staying here all that much longer, but I guess you never know.
As far as things here are going, we were able to have a pretty good number of people in church on Sunday.  The family of the sister that went for the first time last week also went.  Also, the dad of a family that we are working with accompanied his family this week, which was really exciting.  Hopefully everything continues to go well here in the branch in the coming weeks.
It is crazy to think that my birthday and the "fiestas patrias" (or the national holidays) are coming up.  I just can't believe how fast time is passing by.  It almost makes me nervous because I know that there is not all that much time for me to continue helping the people here.  But I just need to keep working and do all that I can in the time that I have.
Well I hope that all is going well back home, and I will talk to you all later.
