How are things going back there. So I have some
exciting news. I am training another new missionary this next change.
:) I will find out who it is tomorrow, so that means I will probably be
sending another email then. But I'm still unable to stay with a
companion for more than 6 weeks. Haha oh well.
But now with the exciting news! WE HAD A BAPTISM
YESTERDAY! It was really great. His name is Ubaldo. He is the dad of
an 18-year old girl who was baptized when she was 8 years old. A year
ago, missionaries came and taught the mom and she was then baptized.
Now, after waiting for over 10 years since her own baptism, Elizabeth
was able to see the baptism of her father. It was a really special
experience. The family really is amazing. They have plans to be sealed
in the temple next year, so hopefully I will be able to go with them
through the temple to share that experience with them. Experiences like
that really make all of the hard work here on the mission worth it.
When you can see the power that will soon be in that family as they
begin to have a priesthood leader in the home, it gives you motivation
to do anything and everything possible so that others can have those
same blessings.
I will talk a bit more tomorrow late in the afternoon/evening, but good luck with everything until then!!

PS I have a pretty sweet view from my apartment, especially after it rains and the air is clear.
