Hey everyone,
How are things going
back home? Things are going pretty well here. It has been a pretty
good week. On Saturday, Anaís was baptized!!! It was a really great
experience. There were a lot of people from the branch there to help
support her on her special day. Her parents are both members of the
church who were baptized over 10 years ago. However, they stopped going
to church quite a few years ago, but they decided that they wanted to
make the step to return. So we have been working with them a lot, and
the mom is now active with her daughter. Unfortunately, the father
still hasn't t
aken the necessary steps to return back to church, but
hopefully he will make the decision to fully support his family in these
desires soon.
This week we also had a lot of people in sacrament meeting.
It is great to see that the branch is starting to grow as more people
are coming to church, and people are also beginning to come more
regularly. Hopefully in the next few weeks we will be able to see even
more growth here.
Not all that much is new besides that. We continue to work
hard, focusing mostly on trying to strengthen the branch and the members
here so that the branch can be a real refuge from the world for the
members and the people who will come to know the church now and in the
future.
I hope that all is going really well back home, and I will talk to you all soon. Good luck with everything that you do!!!
