How is everything going back home? Things
are going pretty well here. It is crazy that there is so little time
left, but I am definitely excited for everything that I am still able to
do in the little over a month that I have left here. Things are going
very well here. The ward is growing. On Sunday we had 130 people in
church, the most there have been in a very long time, if ever. We are
teaching some awesome families. There is a lady that we are teaching
that is really good. She has had some problems with depression, but it
is truly amazing to see how much the gospel is able to change people.
She now just looks so much happier than she ever did before. I am
fully convinced that the way to be happier is striving to live the
gospel better. Every difficulty won't pass, but I know that it will
certainly help in the process.
This is a really great ward. Everyone is very
excited to be able to help in missionary work. There are many amazing
members who just have awesome testimonies of the gospel and are willing
to do anything to share that with others. I am amazed at how many very
strong active members there are in a rather small place. The ward
leaders work very well together, and together I think that we will be
able to do a lot of great work here with the ward. Things are so
different here from all of the areas that I have been in so far in
Chile. I think that it will actually be able to help me to get used to
how things with be when I get back home.
I hope that all is going well back there. Good luck with everything, and I'll talk to you later.
