Hey how are things going back home? Things are
going well back here. I am still working hard here in Talca. Things
have been working out pretty well. We are teaching a lady here who is
really starting to progress. She has seen a lot of changes in her life
up to now and has really strong desires to be baptized and join the
church. There is also another young family that is really good. They
have come to church the last two weeks, and are working out some legal
things to get their marriage official so that they can be baptized.
We also had a really great lesson last night with a young
family. They are really awesome and have had really spiritual
experiences; however, the fear of rejection from their very Catholic
family has prevented them from praying to receive the answer that they
expect they will receive from God. Maybe, dad, you could write me a
short message that I could share with them from your personal experience
to help them. I've realized that sharing those personal experiences
from home can actually really help people a lot of times.Todd is serving a two-year mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the Chile Rancagua Mission. Here are excerpts from letters he has sent home so that friends and family can keep up with how he is doing.
